 The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a State DC Manager to join the team at Hemmant QLD.

Reporting to the GM Warehousing & Distribution; you will be responsible for managing our warehouse operation activities to support the SOPs, procedures and objectives of the business. This role will require both ‘hands on’ involvement with day to day activities whilst also overseeing the team to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner.


You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the overall planning, organising and operations of the distribution centre.
  • Oversee all distribution functions including picking, packing, shipping, receiving and the safe storage of goods.
  • Developing, coaching, training and mentoring staff to provide ongoing continuity of performance at desired levels.
  • Working successfully and collaboratively across departments in meeting internal & external stakeholder requirements.
  • Initiate continuous improvement measures to enhance inbound and outbound processes with the objective to increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve quality.
  • Developing and monitoring safety procedures by leading ACM Parts safety culture.


The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Professional experience in warehousing as a manager.
  • Experience in building business relationships/customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of car mechanical associated parts/consumables.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Employee engagement and leadership skills.
