The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Store person to join the team at Hemmant

Role responsibilities

  • Order picking
  • Operation of MHE (Order Picker and Forklift)
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles
  • Labelling and storing parts accurately
  • Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customers
  • Packing & wrapping parts for distribution
  • General warehouse duties as required 

Does this sound like you?

  • Previous Warehousing experience in a fast pace environment - essential 
  • LF Licences (Forklift) - essential
  • LO Licence (Order Picker) - desirable
  • Mechanical experience is a desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Eye for detail - with quality control inspection of all parts carried out before leaving warehouse
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Understanding safe work practices - OH&S
  • Automotive knowledge would be advantageous for this role
