The Opportunity

 The primary function of the Out Bound Sales Consultant role is to successfully execute the out bound sales programs targeting the Collision and Mechanical repair business in our Automotive Repair Segment. The role acts as our first touch point with future potential customers to help grow the business and develops the first interest, the initial relationship and foundation sales growth of the target customers. This role reports to and supports the National Sales Manager and works closely with the National Sales Operations Manager.


 Key Accountabilities:

  • Conducting out bound telephone calls in line with daily volume expectations
  • Delivery of daily call activity, conversion rates and sales metrics
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to support the growth of sales as required
  • Advocate for the customer through Sales Management
  • Liaise with operational staff as required to support the sales process
  • Account Management
  • Provide daily sales and activity progress summaries.
  • Provide weekly summaries on sales and activities for contact list.
  • Utilising promotional campaigns to support identified Out Bound Customer growth
  • Providing input to script development to maximise breakthrough to Marketing
  • Supporting the National Sales Operations Manager where required
  • Other duties as requested


 Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in “out bound” telephone sales
  • Knowledge of and experience with CRM systems
  • Automotive Parts/Panel knowledge – able to interpret parts preferable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in building business relationships over the phone
  • High computer proficiency
  • Personable and patient
  • Attention to detail
