Key responsibilities include:
- Uphold program standards and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality teaching services and providing timely student feedback.
- Undertake course development and research activities as required
- Maintain strong relationships and partnerships within the sector and community; Organize engaging learning activities outside the classroom setting
- Pursue professional development in teaching and relevant disciplines.
- Maintain professional conduct and respond to student inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in teaching evaluation and improvement efforts
About You
- A Master’s of Teaching (Birth-5 or Birth-8)
- At least two years post-qualification relevant sector experience, specifically related to lecturing / mentoring / experience within an ECEC centre
- Willingness to undertake continued professional development as required
- A strong understanding of theory and practice in the relevant discipline
- Completion, or enrolment in PhD is desirable but not required
- The ability to improve teaching methods and the ability and willingness to use innovative strategies for teaching and learning and for engaging students
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability and willingness to contribute to professional collaborations; Positive and energetic attitude
