About the role:

The VCE Coordinator is a teaching and management role that has a crucial place at Acknowledge Education, ensuring the seamless delivery of the VCE in compliance with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) standards. This middle leadership position, which reports to the Director of Studies, is central to our educational strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support the management of VASS operations.
  • Facilitate the daily coordination and improvement of the VCE program.
  • Conduct academic reporting, establish liaison, and deliver course advice to students and guardians.
  • Provide academic and professional mentorship to staff through engaging discussions and effective teaching of the VCE curriculum.
  • Contribute to the scheduling of VCE timetables.
  • Effectively oversee student behaviour management.

About You

  • Proven experience in delivering and managing the VCE.
  • Deep understanding of current curriculum trends within the VCE framework.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in educational management or leadership (Desirable)
  • Active involvement in professional educational communities (Desirable)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organisational prowess with a knack for motivating staff and advising students.
  • A committed approach to professional development and learning.
  • A vibrant personality with a passion for student wellbeing and pastoral care.
  • Demonstrated interest in ongoing professional growth.
