About the Role
Acknowledge Education is seeking Facilitators and Markers who will work remotely within the Community Services Academic team. The role will facilitate online seminars, mark student produced work , and engaging with students. This position is as an Independent Contractor and is flexible around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating online seminars for students of the Bachelor of Community Services.
- Marking student produced work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Attending unit inductions to align with marking standards.
- Communicating with students and answer inquiries from students.
- Preparing for online seminars prior to delivery by reviewing course content and preparing any additional resources they deem necessary.
About You
- Post Graduate qualification in community work, welfare, human/social services or similar
- 3 years of industry experience in community service related fields.
- Strong understanding of theory and best practice.
- Excellent presentation and leadership skills.
- Current and Active ABN, or willingness to obtain an ABN.
- Passion for teaching and passing on knowledge to the next generation of human services workers.
