The Campus Operations Manager oversees daily campus operations, driving both local and nationwide projects. Focused on student satisfaction and service excellence, this role works closely with the Head of Operations and Student Experience Manager to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and collaboration skills, ensuring a smooth campus environment that supports student and staff success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Student Satisfaction: Oversee student onboarding and support, working with the Student Experience Manager to boost satisfaction. They lead the Placement Officers' team, streamline operations, and foster a positive campus culture through events, while managing staff recruitment and performance.
  • Campus Culture Development: Foster a vibrant campus culture through student-led events and milestones, while leading onboarding and orientation to ensure strong support and alignment with the Student Experience Manager.
  • National Operations and Collaboration Initiatives: Collaborate on projects to improve efficiency and student experience, lead teams to ensure timely execution, and implement process improvements while ensuring placement success and record accuracy.
  • Campus Operations: Ensure smooth campus operations, including facilities, safety, staff supervision, and timetable coordination with academic leaders.
  • WHS Framework: Promote Group WHS Framework adherence and policies, including conducting risk assessments, implementing controls, and monitoring WHS performance.
  • Leadership and Management: Handle staff recruitment, induction, ongoing support, performance appraisals, and exit procedures.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in project management, hotel management, or management of large hospitality business.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in managing change within complex environments.
  • Strong operations experience, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Excellent systems knowledge with ability to quickly learn and implement new platforms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with capacity to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with student information systems and data protection regulations.
