About the role:

As Trainer and Assessor for Diploma of Community Services, you will be responsible for the organization and delivery of the program, while ensuring compliance with the VET Quality Framework. In this role, you will be expected to map comprehensively to the units you are employed to deliver. Working from home during non-teaching hours is an option for this position.

Other duties include:

  • Providing high-quality teaching services to our students
  • Training & Assessment of units and ensuring effective learning
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress

About you

The successful candidate will have a Diploma level qualification in relevant studies or higher, as well as a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent/ higher. Minimum of 2 years industry experience in the community services sector and a strong understanding of theory and practice are essential for this role.

It would be advantageous if you hold the following:

  • Diploma of Community Services qualification
  • Experience working with international students in vocational education
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems such as Moodle

Please note that a valid Working with Children Check is a requirement for this role. If you are successfully hired for this role, you must obtain a check and you will be reimbursed. If you have a VIT Provisional Registration or Teacher Registration, you would not require a separate WWCC.
