About the Role
As a Course Coordinator for the Diploma of Nursing program, you will provide academic and operational leadership, ensuring smooth course delivery and continuous improvement. You will oversee course operations, including timetabling, resource planning, and assessments. This role also involves developing new courses, supporting Course Advisory Committees, and leading staff professional development. You will monitor student progress, review safety protocols, and contribute to academic policy development. Additionally, you will teach within the course, sharing your expertise and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide academic and operational leadership, overseeing course operations, timetabling, resources, and assessments.
- Assist in course development, support Advisory Committees, and contribute to research and policy reviews.
- Lead staff professional development and monitor student progress, performance, and satisfaction.
- Update safety protocols and teach within the Diploma of Nursing course.
About You
As a Registered Nurse, you bring a wealth of practical knowledge to the role. With a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in the Diploma of Nursing, you are skilled at effectively engaging with diverse audiences. Your exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail ensure you meet deadlines and uphold quality standards. You excel both as a team player and when working autonomously, showing initiative and adaptability in all situations.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA with at least 5 years' experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the Diploma of Nursing.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, staff, and diverse groups.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve processes.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
