About the Role
The Placement Officer plays a pivotal role within our organisation, ensuring the seamless matching and placement of Acknowledge (AE) and ICHM students into valuable placement opportunities.
The role is based at Acknowledge Education’s Perth campus, working three days per week supporting AE (Perth students) and two days per week supporting both AE and ICHM students in Adelaide. While the role supports two institutions, ICHM operates under Acknowledge Education, ensuring consistency in processes and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage placement demand, ensure regulatory compliance, and review student documentation.
- Conduct one-on-one interviews to assess placement needs and match students with agencies.
- Coordinate student interviews with placement agencies and track placement progress.
- Confirm placements, send confirmation emails, and ensure all documents are uploaded to InPlace.
- Assign Liaison Officers for ongoing student support and escalate placement concerns when necessary.
- Respond to student queries and collect feedback for placement improvement.
About you
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education, student services, customer service, or a related field.
- Familiarity with InPlace or similar placement management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with students, agencies, and internal teams.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage placement challenges effectively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus.
- Willingness to undergo training to enhance skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
