Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with stakeholders to secure student placements and provide support and guidance to liaison officers.
  • Act as the primary contact for fieldwork placements, coordinating student support and evaluation activities.
  • Organize student information sessions, orientation presentations, and ensure liaison services meet compliance standards.
  • Manage placement records, assess student performance, and identify and address any placement issues promptly.
  • Comply with organizational policies and contribute to team meetings and professional development initiatives.

About you:

  • Hold a diploma or higher in community work, social welfare, human services, or related fields, with at least two years of relevant industry experience.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development with at least 20 hours annually.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry, database management, and online learning platforms, with strong report writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently under minimal supervision.

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as required for Registered Training Organizations.
  • Experience with vocational placement programs in educational settings.
  • Familiarity with supporting international and multicultural students, along with proficiency in InPlace, RTO Manager, and Moodle.
