Title: Electrical Engineer I, Hardware

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 6 Month Assignment

Responsibilities:

• Sustaining engineering, electronic component life-cycle management, instrument field complaint investigation and documentation to support these efforts.
• Root cause analysis tools to troubleshoot various levels of electro-mechanical sub-systems and instruments.
• Contribute inputs on a diverse cross functional/cross site team and external contract
• manufacturers and engineers.
• Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of
• Abbott Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.

Education:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred; or equivalent experience/combined education
• Some Previous Medical Device Experience preferred.
